Veterinary assistants have been identified by the U.S. Department of Labor as one of the fastest growing professions!  Discover the science of Veterinary Medicine and be able to help provide medical care to sick and injured animals.  Learn the basic physiological and scientific properties of various animals and demonstrate your competency working with animals under the supervision of Veterinary Medicine specialist.

This program is NAVTA accredited (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America) and students qualify to sit for the Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) Exam.  Veterinary Assistants can work with Veterinarians in private practice, animal shelters, animal control facilities, pet stores, kennels and veterinary drug companies.
