Please join us on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 4:00 pm for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new business of Ujima Retreat Center, 4303 S. High Cross Rd., Urbana, IL 61802. After the ribbon cutting, tours will be provided.

About Ujima Retreat Center:

Ujima Retreat Center is located in rural Urbana on 7.5 acres with a 2.5-acre pond. Our retreat space is designed to help people care for themselves, their loved ones, and their coworkers in a natural, restorative way. We offer a unique outdoor spa experience, hammock lounge, pavilion, fire pit, cabin, campsite, meeting space, and garden, providing opportunities for deep relaxation, connection with nature, and team-building. Our guests can enjoy activities like kayaking, fishing, games, and stargazing, all fostering connection and wellness. We also host youth wellness initiatives and camps, encouraging health and growth in a supportive environment. Additionally, we connect local healing professionals, such as yoga instructors, meditation guides, massage therapists, and sound bowl therapy practitioners, with our guests to promote well-being in a safe and natural setting.
