Description
Mead is considered the oldest fermented drink, predating beer and wine. It is traditionally a wintertime activity following the honey harvest. Review the history of mead and discuss the steps for brewing mead at home. Master beekeeper and prize-winning mead maker Maggie Wachter will share her secrets with you, along with her recipe for standard mead.
