Illinois Department of Employment Security will partner with Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Illinois National Guard to host the 2019 Veterans’ Employment and Resource Fair on Tuesday, October 29 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Illinois National Guard Armory, 600 East University Ave, Urbana, IL. This no-cost event is open to veterans, their spouses, caregivers and dependents from 10am to 11am and will be open to veterans and the general public from 11am to 2pm. Job seekers will have the opportunity to speak with over 30 employers and veteran service organizations. Jobs seekers will have the opportunity to speak with hiring representatives from Carle Hospital, the State of Illinois, University of Illinois, FedEx Ground, Caterpillar, FBI, Illinois State Police, Kraft-Heinz, State Farm, UPS, VA Illiana Health Care System, OSF, AT&T, and many more. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple résumés.
