CIRCLE Springfield Advocacy Trip

CIRCLE (Central Illinois Regional Chambers Legislative Effort) is going to Springfield on April 26, 2012 and we need you to join us! The Chambers in Canton, Champaign County, Chillicothe, Clinton, Decatur, East Peoria, Jacksonville, Lincoln/Logan, Macomb, Manito, McLean County, Morton, Pekin, Peoria, Peoria Heights, Quincy, Springfield, and Washington are working together to advocate for a common agenda with the Illinois General Assembly. We have surveyed our members to identify issues of importance across the regions and now we need to share those issues with key members of the General Assembly. These will be issues that impact YOUR business and OUR region, so please join us for an all day session on April 26.

We will arrange meetings with legislators and/or key committee staff members that relate to each of our identified issues. The following issues will be discussed: Public Pension Reform; Workers Compensation Reform; Unemployment Insurance Reform; and Reduction in Medicaid Costs, among others. You will play an active role in the discussions with the policy makers so sign up today!

The $55 fee covers breakfast, luncheon, issue briefings and delegate materials.
