Please join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening and graduation of Walmart Academy on Tuesday, June 6, at 8:45am. They are located at Walmart-Urbana, 100 S. High Cross Road in Urbana.
The Urbana Walmart was selected to be one of the few stores to offer the Academy, which is a training program for managers. Many Senior Leaders from the company will be attending as it is such a big event.
Festivities will take place outside of the Lawn and Garden Center in a large tent. The graduation ceremony will begin at 8:00am and everyone is invited to join, however, the actual ribbon cutting will be after the ceremony at approximately 8:45am. They would like to take a picture on the stage inside the tent and include the graduates, Chamber staff, Ambassadors, and the Mayor.
