February Seminar Summary:
Don't know if you should offer product A or B?  Can we afford that equipment or training?  How can we make a reasonable decision?  The answer is good financial record keeping.   

The real goal of these records is to help decision makers figure out where money is coming in and going out of your business.  Financial records can be used to determine if current goals are being met and what future goals could be. 

They are also necessary accurately complete; taxes, payroll, getting loans, applying for grants, and attract investors.

Accounting professionals understand that no two businesses are the same and there are many methodologies for financial record keeping. While their services may seem expensive they will save you; time, money, frustration and help your business create a clear path to move forward.

Jason Shaw, CPA and Partner at Kemper CPA

Jason obtained his Bachelors of Science in accountancy for the University of Illinois, and joined the Champaign office the the Kemper CPS Group LLP in the fall of 2016.

Jason began is career in public accounting fin 2005 as a staff accountant with a local central Illinois firm serving the tax and bookkeeping needs of local businesses and individuals. In 2007 Jason joined a large national accounting firm to serve local, national and international privately head businesses and their owners, nonprofit organization, and fiduciaries. Jason has served clients in various industries, with a special emphasis in Manufacturing and Distribution, Construction, Insurance and Transportation.

Jason has been involved with tax review, preparation, planning and compliance throughout his career.  In addition, Jason has ben heavily involved in business development, hiring and mentoring staff, performance of due diligence on purchase and sales and leading office training seminars.
