Description

Summary:
New laws surrounding the recreational use of Cannabis mean changes for employers.  This seminar will focus on general cannabis issues and recommendations, as well as, how this can impact in workers' compensation cases.

Colin & Michael will provide recommendations for drafting policies and plans handling matters that arise before an accident even happens, as well as how to investigate and document the facts critical to an employer’s defense of a claim.

Due to presenters belief it will be nearly impossible to cover all scenarios, or issues, that an employer may encounter; extra time will be devoted to the Question and Answer session.   The hope is to have an open discussion about each issue, with each participant.

Seminar info level:  Beginner
