SUMMARY:Raise the Woof! 3: Dogs Vs. Cats
DESCRIPTION:Everyone deserves a decent place to live....including man's best friend!\n\n\n\nRaise the Woof! is a competitive dog house building event\, benefitting Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County. Friends\, families\, local businesses\, and community organizations come together to build their best version of a dog house\, in the process raising funds for the creation of affordable housing here in Champaign County. \n\n\n\nThis year's Raise the Woof! event is taking place on Saturday\, September 25th\, from 9 am-3 pm\, at the Habitat for Humanity warehouse\, located at 302 N Broadway in Urbana. In honor of our feline friends\, teams this year may build either a dog OR a cat structure. Teams can compete in one of two different categories: the "Old Dogs" for teams with building and/or design experience\, and the "Young Pups" for teams with no building experience.....but lots of enthusiasm! \n\n\n\nOur friends at Hospice Hearts will be on site at the event\, with adorable\, adoptable cats and dogs and all spectators at Raise the Woof! can see the amazing designs being built....and can help cheer on their favorites! \n\n\n\nAll the building will take place from 9 am-2 pm\, and then from 2 pm-3 pm all the completed designs will be evaluated by a panel of judges from the CU community\, and awards will be presented in 4 different categories. All the completed dog and cat structures will then be taken to the Champaign County ReStore\, where the community can vote for and bid to own their favorites!\n\n\n\nAll money raised via Raise the Woof 3!: Dogs Vs.
