What started as a dream became a reality on February 23rd\, 2013\, with the first-ever Raas Mania\, organized completely by Illinois students. Raas is a high-energy\, Indian folk dance that originates in Gujarat. In 2021\, the competition expanded to include bhangra teams\, making Mania one of the largest competitions in the midwest. Bhangra is a high-octane Indian folk dance that originates in Punjab. Doors open at 4pm.
