DESCRIPTION:One Summer Day is a grocery cart walk sponsored by non-profit organizations helping the homeless in Champaign-Urbana where walkers will push grocery carts or other things (wagons\, strollers\, etc.) and collect donations of necessary amenities in adavance the homeless population lacks. Funding is also collected from who will give it\, with the money going towards the day-to-day working of our own organization and other organizations helping the homeless. \n\n\n\nThe event will be a fundraising event on June 28\, 2014 at Hessel Park (1862 Valley Rd. Champaign\, IL 61820) with sign ups for the event starting at 8:15am\, and the actual walk itself starting at 9:00am and going to 11:00am.
