DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Junior League of Champaign-Urbana (JLCU) 80-years of voluntarism\, we invite you to join us at our Anniversary Gala on Saturday\, February 16\, 2013 from 6PM - 11PM at the Champaign Country Club. There will be dinner\, dancing and both a silent and live auction. This event is sponsored by McGladrey. \n\nPast projects that JLCU has started and transitioned to the community our Developmental Services Center (est. 1961-62)\, Krannert Docents Program (est. 1962-63)\, Crisis Nursery (est. 1984-85)\, and Food for Families (est. 1986). JLCU current position statemnet is Basic Needs for School Readiness.\n\nJLCU is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism\, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.\n\nWe look forward to recognizing the past accomplishments\, present projects\, and future prospects on how JLCU can serve the Champaign-Urbana communities. And with your attendance it will help to ensure that we are able to continue our work in the community.\n\nTickets can be purchased at the link below.
