DESCRIPTION:C4A Christmas Sing-Along \n\n\n\nLincoln Square Food Court and The Iron Post \n\n\n\nTuesday\, December 1 at 4:00pm - 9:30pm \n\nLincoln Square Food Court and The Iron Post \n\n\n\nThis year on Tuesday\, December 1\, we have TWO FREE Christmas Sing-Along events: one oriented toward families\, and another with a more adult feel. Both are free\, and both are our "give back" to the community on Giving Tuesday. \n\n\n\nYOU are invited to join the fun\, and if you feel inspired do a little giving of your own to help C4A with its mission. We'll make it easy for you to donate online\, on your phone\, or using the old-fashioned cash or check method. (We are a 501c3 organization\, and your donation may be deductible.) \n\n\n\nFamily event: 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the food court at Urbana's Lincoln Square Mall. \n\n\n\nStarting at 4:00 pm we'll host a family friendly sing-along. Bring your instrument if you want to play along too. There will be face painting and craft stations and everyone will be invited to help us decorate our life-sized gingerbread style play house! \n\n\n\nRick Murphy will lead the music and our friendly elves will assist you at stations for coloring\, making snowflakes\, and creating your own Christmas cards. \n\n\n\nRelaxed Grown-Up event: 7:30 to 9:30 PM at The Iron Post (at the corner of Race and Elm in downtown Urbana) \n\n\n\nThen\, starting at 7:30 pm it's time for the grown-ups to have some fun with Christmas music singing and playing at the Iron Post. Owner Paul Wirth says he'll make eggnog! More details on this coming up too. \n\n\n\nRick Murphy will man the piano for this session too. All singers and instrumentalists are invited to join in. Paul will serve his special eggnog. \n\n\n\nThese events are free to the public. C4A will accept donations as part of the national "Giving Tuesday" movement.
