DESCRIPTION:The blood supply was challenged last week due to a national emergency and the Labor Day weekend. Thousands of volunteer donors answered the call to action\, and we are asking you to continue to support ongoing needs both locally and nationally. Being closed on Labor Day means we didn't collect 700+ donations from across our full-service region as we normally would\, but patients continue to need blood every day and we are working to replenish supplies.  September is also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month - 17% of our blood products are used to treat all cancer patients.  Join us to donate blood\, and YOU can help save lives!
