For more information or to register\, please call 217.359.1791.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the presenter:\n\nRick Shurtz graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in Marketing. After returning from his stint in the army\, he worked in marketing and sales for Capital Controls in Pennsylvania and traveled extensively in Europe and Central America setting up and training Capital's sales force. Since returning to Champaign\, he has started the Fitness Center\, Cabana Tan Centers\, Landmark Real Estate and Outdoor Concepts. Rick purchased an existing business\, Arrow Glass.\n\n\n\nHe has volunteered and worked for United Way\, past President of Champaign County Humane Society and Champaign County Board of Realtors. \nRick mentors for several youths in the area. He has volunteered with ECI SCORE for the past eight years. He has been responsible for the workshop scheduling and working with many clients who have had high expectations of starting and maintaining their small business.
